invocation -- outside a class context
Outside a class context (i.e. everywhere except within a class method) methods are invoked, using a tilde operator, as follows:
The above request invokes the
method, within the class associated with instance
-- which would be in class
The invocation does not pass any parameters to the method.
The following shows how a method is invoked with parameters:
remember( 'color', 'red' )
A method invocation request with parameters follows the syntax that is used for Rexx function invocations.
The left parenthesis must be immediately after the name of the class, without any intervening spaces.
