A single anchor can easily protect all copies of mass produced software CDs, while having a unique value to control each CD.

A software anchor can selectively support multiple products, or features.

Custom anchors can be prepared for each copy of an expensive product.

When you click the link above, you will receive a program called GuessIt!.
The program is a simple game where multiple players guess a number between 1 and 100.
After each guess the range of numbers is reduced.
The game ends when a player guesses the number, or must guess the number.
The game is often used to determine who BUYS coffee, or other supplies, for a group of players.

You can copy GuessIt! to another system, but it will not work.

As mentioned above, the demonstration requires a Microsoft® Windows® 98/ME/2000/XP, or NT 4.0 environment.
In some environments, it may be necessary for you to have administrator privileges to download the demonstration.
