1 Kilowatt Software Product Installation
Kilowatt Software products are installed by downloading files from the internet.
Product files are distributed as standard Windows ZIP files.
These can be unzipped by the WinZip™ utility.
If you do not have WinZip™, you can obtain a free evaluation copy at the following URL:

You can download r4™, roo!™, and revu!™ product ZIP files
directly -- without performing a pre-installation step.
Before you download AuroraWare!™ and Poof!™ product ZIP files you must perform a pre-installation step.
2 Pre-installation
- You may need to be logged on as an administrator to perform product pre-installation.
- You must be connected to the internet before pre-installation can proceed.
- During product pre-installation you may be surprised when some windows appear and disappear automatically. This is normal behavior for the pre-installation process.
- When the pre-installation process completes successfully a readme.txt file is displayed with the Notepad accessory. Please save this file to your hard drive for future reference.

3 Zip files
After pre-installation completes you can download the following product ZIP files:

You can save the zip files to your hard drive, and then unzip them later when it is more convenient time. You must perform the product pre-installation process mentioned above before you can execute the programs.
4 Product usage HTML files
Usage information for each of the products is described in an accompanying HTML file. The associated files are:

The Poof!™ product includes many additional HTML files. The main HTML file for the Poof!™ product is named: intro.htm.
The AuroraWare!™ product includes additional HTML files as well. Each product has its own HTML file; for example: checklst.htm.
Numerous HTML files that describe Classic Rexx language capabilities are available online. The main HTML file is:

5 r4™ example programs
The r4™ product includes many example programs. You can find these in the directory where you installed the r4™ ZIP file. The example programs have a .rex file extension.
6 roo!™ example programs
The roo!™ product includes many example programs as well. You can find these in the directory where you installed the roo!™ ZIP file. The example programs have a .rooProgram file extension. Associated class files have a .roo file extension.
